Today at work, talking to another employee about work. She said they (meaning employer) are driving the business. I said, 'We drive the car, they put petrol in it'.

This is an updated post, I have thought of a few new proverbs.

I have said this a couple of times at work, and this is my best 'new' favourite proverb:

The worst job could be your best job.

These are the other new ones:

Peace is not submission, it is a mission.

Majorities can also be minorities in life; minorities can be majorities in life.

Living makes one move from comfortable to uncomfortable.

A life can be lost in comfort.

It is a long walk to nowhere.

Better to be a still fool than a wondering idiot.

I will not drink over this poor soul.

Let the loser celebrate.

I will begin when all aches disappear.

Be healthy be detox be still.

Shine in your own way.

Goodness does not need to try to be good.

My void “was” my weakness.

Lovers can bring much hate in the courtroom.

Lovers can put one in a strange court; all in the name of love.

False values are valued as valuables, as that is all they have.

One can travel many miles in the mind, just like driving a car.
(I have said this once)
